Motorcyclist dies after collision with a car
On Tuesday afternoon, a 64-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident on the B28 between Offenburg and Appenweier.
According to the police, the man from the Ortenau district was driving his motorcycle in the direction of Appenweier when he collided with a car that was turning left onto the B28 from a side road.
The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the car was slightly injured.

The B28 was closed in both directions for several hours after the accident. Traffic was diverted via the A5 motorway.
