The Boxing Africa Qualifier, held from 9 to 15 February 2023 in Senegal, has determined the first batch of boxers to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. A total of 18 athletes, including four women and 14 men, from eight countries have earned their spots in the upcoming Games.

The 18 qualifying boxers are from Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Namibia, and Senegal. They will join the ranks of other athletes who will qualify through continental events, the World Boxing Tour, and the Olympic boxing qualifying tournaments.

Boxing has been a part of the Olympic Games since its inception in 688 BCE, and it has been a fixture in the modern Games since its reintroduction in 1904. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, a total of 248 boxers will compete for medals in 13 weight categories, with eight new weight categories introduced for women.
